Place the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter, in a heavy bottom saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture constantly, cooking it until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and thick.
Remove from the heat and add the heavy cream, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
Pour the hot fudge into an airtight jar or container and store in the fridge for up to 1 month!
Notes
This is a homemade hot fudge recipe. If you want a hot fudge sauce, you can thin out the sauce by adding in a tablespoon of heavy cream until you reach your desired consistency!
