More of a dark chocolate cake flavor! I cooked mine for 25 minutes in a non stick container and drizzled caramel on top.

I’ve made 3 times and they’ve turned out perfectly each time. Doesn’t taste GF. I’ve made individual heart brownies in heart muffin tins and they look and taste lovely.

Definitely one of those recipes that you can’t tell is GF. One recipe note – you don’t have to worry about over-mixing GF flour like you do with wheat flour, so feel free to continue to mix on medium speed after adding the flour.

Hi Kaitlyn! I’m so sorry to hear your brownies turned out dry–that’s the worst! If your brownies were dry my guess is that you either overmeasured your dry ingredient (be sure to really fluff up the flour and cocoa and spoon and level it into your measuring cups) to make sure it’s not compacting. Ovens can also very so much so it’s possible your brownies were just overbaked–try checking on them ten minutes earlier for doneness!

Hi Hailey! Unfortunately almond flour would change the texture of these!

Stop. Eating. Them. I reduced the temp to 160C fan (I think that’s 320f) for 25 mins in a 7″ tin, as that’s all I had, and they came out *perfectly*. Next time might swirl some tahini in, or add a berry! But these are definitely on the rotation now!

Delicious!
