Hi Taylor! You could use a dairy free butter! I’ve never tried these with oil, but that might work too–the brownies will probably just be denser!

Hi Hannah! You can double the recipe! If you want super thick brownies you could triple it!

I plan to make this but was wondering if you had great dairy free substitutes for the butter. I wasn’t sure if I should go the ghee route or oil route. Thanks!

Actually life changing. But I did have some challenges getting the pretzel layer to stay attached to the brownies when I cut them. I would say next time I will do a base layer of chocolate directly on the brownies, then add the pretzels, then more chocolate. I think the extra layer of chocolate would really help the pretzels adhere. I also used some melted salted caramel chips from TJs along with the melted chocolate and it was insanely good.

Hi Grey! Yes we used the same semisweet chocolate, but if you prefer sweeter or darker chocolate you can feel free to use whatever you like!

Made it with a mix of 99%, 70% (Lindt) and 50% (Callebaut) and added haighs caramel chocolate chunks in place of pretzels as I didn’t have them on hand. Thanks for a great recipe!
