I used my homemade apple sauce and honestly I’ve shared this recipe with multiple people telling them they HAVE to make it. It lasted a week because It’s just 2 of us and it was moist all the way through to the last day. No butter or anything needed in my opinion. Great as a snack or a morning treat with your coffee! Will be making again today as I am bummed I didn’t have any to start my work day 😀

I made my own applesauce and did a “rough” mash and left it a little chunky so I could have pieces of apple in the bread. It was more apple sauce than the recipe called for and it still turned out but just took a little longer to bake. Will make another this week!

I didn’t have any applesauce, so I subbed pumpkin butter and it worked great! I don’t have a loaf pan, so I made this in a muffin tin- 17-18 minutes was the perfect amount of time, if anyone else wants to go that route.
