I made these with king arthurs gluten free flour blend and although I had to cook them a little longer, they were SO good. I brought these to a friendsgiving and they were such a hit, someone said they resembled a taste and texture of a Crumble cookie. Winning! Thank you so much for the recipe.

The texture and flavor of these cookies is A+++. Can’t wait to share with more people.

I haven’t tried the maple butter but I think it could be tasty! You could try on a cookie or two and see if you like it and if not switch over to the glaze!

Hi Liz! You might me overmixing the batter which can cause the cookies to get tougher and not spread as much. It’s also possible you might be overmeasuring your flour slightly–make sure you’re really fluffing up the flour and spooning and leveling it in your measuring cup! Happy they are still tasty but hopefully we can get them to spread for you!!

Hi Sandra! You can swap out the maple syrup for milk instead if you don’t like the flavor!
