If your prefer your muffins less sweet you can go down on the sugar to your taste! Just keep in mind that the muffins will be less soft! Happy to hear you still enjoyed these 🙂

The method of rubbing the lemon zest into the sugar is super great, and fun. I am only giving this 4 instead of 5, because this felt like a lot of sugar to me for a muffin. I would love to see this recipe with a touch less sugar or possibly a sub of honey/maple syrup! Broma is perfection though. My family loves these!
