Do you think it would taste okay if I substituted honey and cinnamon for the sugar and cinnamon that is sprinkled onto the apples before baking?

So easy to make and so good! Only tweak i make is i mix the apples and cinnamon sugar in a bowl as its easier, still looks amazing and taste even better! Made it two days in a row with left over apples!! Will be making another appearance on my thanksgiving dessert table!!

In reply to Traci. Hi Traci! You could, but the puff pastry will be a different texture! If you don't want to make a homemade pie crust, you can also buy a storebought pie crust!
