Had to cover it loosely to prevent browning too much. My family and guests loving the cake! THANK YOU! Used canned nectarine with a pinch of cinnamon.

My guests loved it!! Thank you for such a simple delicious recipe. I was wondering if it needs to be stored in the refrigerator, or can it be covered and left on the counter?

But I persevered and it turned out very nicely. I only had a little bit of seepage which I was easily able to nick off after baking. More guidance on how thickly to cut the peach slices and how to layer them (a video would be amaaazing) would make this lovely recipe even better.

I will be returning again and again just for this cake recipe alone! It turns out beautifully moist, with a nice crumb and the perfect amount of sweetness and vanilla flavor. I could see it being wonderful with cardamom or cinnamon added too. My husband loved it and asked me to make him a peachless version with some frosting for his birthday. 🙂

Yes! Different fruits might take a bit longer or shorter to break down so keep an eye on it in the oven!

It took me a bit to figure out the pattern of the peach slices to get the slices to look at pictured but it was a good brain exercise! DELISH
