I made this cake for my birthday and it was truly one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted!
It tasted almost like gingerbread and was so moist, cozy-tasting, and delicious, but it wasn’t overly sweet which I loved. It is definitely my new favourite fall cake and I most likely will be baking it again as it was soooooo good!
I highly recommend this recipe!
For note – I made two of these cakes (double batch) in round tins so I had to cook them a bit longer due to the size difference, and then I stacked them on top of each other with cream cheese frosting in between and on top (I didn’t use this frosting recipe though – I used a different cream cheese frosting).
