I used a bundt pan, when I do again, if I yse a bundt I may put the struessel in first, so it ends up in top. It was so good, I made it again this morning and added orange zest to the batter, it added a lovely touch.

Hi, Peyton– I’m just wondering if you put the streusel in your Bundt pan first so it would be on top when the coffee cake is inverted after baking? I realize the recipe calls for a tube pan rather than a Bundt pan, which is why it works as written for the streusel to be added last. I don’t have a tube pan and would really like to bake this in a beautiful Bundt pan as you did. I’d love any tips you recall.

I have made so many of your recipes and they are all amazing. I just came across this coffee cake and thought it would be perfect to try in my new Bundt pan. I am just wondering about the streusel – if making in a Bundt would it go on the bottom first? Figuring then it would be on top when the cake was removed after cooling. Or maybe I’m thinking incorrectly. Thanks for your help and all of your delicious recipes!
